Some humans believe that we are the only intelligent species that lives on this planet, as Rhiannon Tiernay is about to discover, we are wrong…very wrong.

The author weaves two worlds together seamlessly. There is love, intrigue, humor, sensuality, and such good description that one can easily get a visual of the scenes. You are drawn into worlds where you love the characters and their own little quirks. You feel invested somehow in the story line. It's also evident that there is more meaning to the names, plants, songs and such that we might not see at first. but if you pay attention you'll notice it.Good character development throughout the story. I loved the love scenes. I also enjoyed how she uses present day issues in the story line; issues like pollution, environmental disasters, veganism, foster care and so on.
I think that this novel has something for everyone. Certainly we should all be able to connect with it on some level. I have to mention that I love the book cover. Compelling, haunting and fresh! LOVE IT!~
Can't wait for the sequel.

The first several chapters of the book were a little rough for me writing style wise, however, once you get past that point the book is a remarkably smooth read and a great story. The author successfully combined a sci-fi theme mixed with a romance novel and made an awesome hybrid (no pun intended.. ok... well perhaps a little bit.) I highly recommend this book, get it!
